Cookbook authors Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger will teach a

two-hour Whole Foods Market Latin cooking class from 7 to 9 p.m. March 23

at the Orange Coast College Forum.

The two chefs are featured on the “Two Hot Tamales” television show

and are the owners of Border Grill restaurants in Santa Monica, Las

Vegas, Los Angeles and Ciudad, Mexico.

The class menu will include plantain empanadas, watercress jicama

salad with toasted coriander vinaigrette, sea bassVeracruzana, seared

greens, Oaxacan chocolate cake with creme fraiche, minty lime coolers and

nonalcoholic mojitas.

The college is at 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa.
