NBLL Majors: Giants edge Angels

The Giants used strong hitting from Danny Moskovits and Kevin

Dearen to defeat the Angels, 6-5, March 8, in Newport Beach Little League

Majors Division action.

Moskovits and Dearen each had back-to-back triples to lead the Giants’

attack, while Philip Bannan, Mark Kanow, Kevin Kottke, Max Rollins and

Marc Roudanez each added key hits.

Bannan and Moskovits each pitched well for the Giants, while Andy

Bender, Jaffer Kattan and Nick Taylor contributed defensively.

In other Majors Division action:

Mariners 6, Giants 5 - Danny Moskovits had a home run, while Philip

Bannan added two doubles for the Giants in their loss to the Mariners.

Kevin Dearen chipped in a double for the Giants, while Mark Kanow and

Marc Roudanez added singles.

In AA Division action:

Red Sox 9, Braves 8 - Brennan Anderson’s game-winning hit lifted the

Red Sox past the Braves. Anderson and Joshua Harrison each had two hits,

while Will Morrow, Blake Thomsen, Parker Werline, Weston Nielsen, Andrew

Conger and J.B. Salem each added key hits. Jackie Anderson chipped in two

walks and scored a run.
