Pet of the Week
Teddy Bear, a 1-year-old red, male dachshund hound mix, is available
for adoption through the Community Animal Network. When Teddy Bear was
rescued, he had one leg wrapped in masking tape, causing him to walk on
three legs. Rescuers thought he had a broken leg, but it turned out to be
a broken pelvis. He was released Monday from the hospital with a $1,000
medical bill. There are also many pregnant cats and kittens available for
adoption.
See other rescued dogs and cats each Saturday and Sunday from noon to
4 p.m. at Russo’s Pet Experience at Fashion Island, Newport Center Drive,
Newport Beach.
The Community Animal Network is a community-supported animal
