Boys golf: Eagles take care of Costa Mesa

COSTA MESA - The Estancia High boys golf team took care of

crosstown rival Costa Mesa, 195-228, Tuesday in Pacific Coast League

action played at the Costa Mesa Golf and Country Club’s Mesa Linda

Course, par 35.

Jason Cassidy led the Eagles (3-1, 2-0 in league) with a par 35, while

Pete Baker (37), Joey Mueller (40), Aaron Frankel (40) and Nick Razo (43)

completed Estancia’s top five.

Mesa’s Bryce Sheridan led all golfers with a 2-under 33, while Steve

Whittaker (43), Mike Gardiner (48), Brian Anderson (51) and Brian Beach

(53) rounded out the scoring for the Mustangs (3-4, 0-1).
