COSTA MESA

* Adams Avenue and Harbor Boulevard: A hit-and-run felony was reported

at 6:54 p.m. Tuesday.

* Avocado Street: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 4:15

p.m. Tuesday.

* East 17th Street: Vandalism was reported in the 200 block at 7:11

p.m. Tuesday.

* South Coast Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 900 block at

1:50 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* North Bristol Street: Vandals reportedly threw eggs at a store in

the 1000 block, causing paint to chip and peel. The incident was reported

at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

* MacArthur Boulevard: A video camera was reported stolen from a bench

in front of Jamba Juice in the 4300 block at 11:18 a.m. Monday.

* Placentia Avenue: Fishing equipment was reported stolen from a

locked, plastic shed in the 1500 block at 4:09 p.m. Monday.
