The Orange County Transportation Authority board has delayed the
public comment period for a study evaluating plans to build bridges on
Gisler and 19th streets.
The agency is waiting for responses to the study from two Orange
County cities, which have not been named.
The responses will be included in an environmental report that will
not be available to the public until the board votes to begin accepting
public comment on the report.
The board has postponed the beginning of the environmental report
process twice already and is expected to approve the process Monday.
The board is now expected to vote to begin the public comment process
in late April or May, authority spokesman George Urch said Tuesday.
