Prep Golf: CdM outshoots Estancia by 10

NEWPORT BEACH - Corona del Mar High junior Joe Kwon finished as the

medalist, shooting three over to lead the Sea Kings boys golf team to a

208-218 Pacific Coast League victory over Estancia at Newport Beach

Country Club Tuesday.

CdM senior John Kwon shot five over on the par-35 course and junior

Jason Wishengrad finished with 42. Sophomore Nick Sherman and freshman

Alex Chikovani each carded 44 for the Sea Kings (7-1,4-0).

Estancia junior Joey Mueller led the Eagles (7-2, 2-1), shooting four

over, while junior Nick Razo shot 41 and sophomore Jason Cassidy finished

with 42.

The battle of the PCL unbeatens will feature CdM against University at

Newport Beach Country Club, Thursday.
