Girls swimming: Eagles fall to Laguna Beach

LAGUNA BEACH - The Estancia High girls swim team dropped a 136-32

Pacific Coast League decision to host Laguna Beach Wednesday afternoon.

Jennifer Cassity was the Eagles’ lone winner. She took first in the

50-yard freestyle with a personal-best time of 27.4.

Cassity also teamed up with Somer Flaherty, Britta Pitti and Lauren

Collier in the Eagles’ second-place 400 freestyle relay team (4:50.3).

She and Flaherty also joined Awryn Knott and Lucy Rodriguez in the 200

medley team for a third-place time of 2:26.5.

The Eagles (0-5) will host Pacifica on Friday in nonleague action,

beginning at 3 p.m
