College women’s tennis: Vanguard splits

COSTA MESA - The Vanguard University women’s tennis team won four

singles matches and swept in doubles to score a 7-2 Golden State Athletic

Conference victory over visiting Biola Tuesday.

The Lions dropped a 5-4 loss to visiting Cal Lutheran Monday.

Against Biola, Rikke Sigdahl-Jensen, Lindsay Doyal, Slinia Yohner and

Sara Bradley grabbed singles wins for Vanguard (10-9).

Yohner and Bradley teamed to earn the only doubles win in the loss to

Cal Lutheran, while Sigdahl-Jensen, Doyal and Bradley picked up singles

victories.
