dresses in all sizes,” says Gloria Godfrey of the Discovery Shop. “With

Easter just around the corner, come fill your children’s baskets with

lovely little stuffed animals, or just come in and see our ‘volunteer’

Dupuis at South Coast Plaza, the Central American store known for its

handcrafted, timeless home furnishings and accessories, also has a

full-serve bridal registry for brides and grooms. They will mail, fax or

e-mail the registry to family and friends upon request and provide cards

to inform wedding guests of the Dupuis registry. Of course there is also

a shipping service for a small charge, and all registries are kept on

record for six months after the wedding. An added benefit is the 10%

discount extended to the couple after the wedding day. Sales associates

can help with selecting merchandise for the registry, including

one-of-a-kind items. At Dupuis there is also an interior designer on

If you’re already a big fan of Fitigues clothing at Fashion Island,

you’ll probably love the new spring T-shirt collection, which is ideal

for spring and summer. The T-shirt collection comes in viscose silk rib,

stretch pointelle and supplex jersey. The shirts come in simple

Fashion Island has opened two new stores and an outdoor cart in the

last few weeks. A ‘Seewald.com’ Gallery, a fine photography gallery and

Just Priceless, a studio specializing in hand-painted, sepia-toned family

portraits, have opened, while Yojiya, which specializes in affordable

beauty products, has opened a cart.

Respected fine art photographer Michael Seewald owns A ‘Seewald.com’

Gallery in scenic photography. Seewald’s work comes from travels he’s

made through Russia, Spain, India, Turkey, Italy, the Hawaiian Islands,

France, Ireland, Germany, Costa Rica and Japan. Some have described

Seewald’s works as art that “touches your soul.” The gallery opens in

time to celebrate a new exhibit on Tuscany that begins on Monday. A

Just Priceless is a photography studio that specializes in classic

family portraits. The studio uses black and white sepia-toned film to

photograph families, children and even pets in old-fashioned settings

complete with antique clothes and props. After the photos are processed,

they are hand-painted by in-house artists to create the look of an early

20th century portrait. Just Priceless is located in the paseo between the

Yojiay is almost a 100-year-old company that offers high quality,

affordable natural skin care products. The company is based in Kyoto,

Japan and opened its first U.S. store in Torrance a few years ago, with

an overwhelming success. The cart features soap, facial cleansing powder,

makeup brushes and its popular oil blotting facial paper. The Yojiya cart

is located near the koi pond.
