Baseball: Pirates pull out win over Lasers

ORANGE - The Orange Coast College baseball team held on for a 6-4

Orange Empire Conference win over host Irvine Valley Thursday afternoon

at Hart Park.

Josh McCanne, Brian Murphy, Greg Trimble and Troy Bokosky each came

through with key extra-base hits to lead the Pirates’ attack.

Mark Courvoisier pitched four-plus innings of solid relief to improve

his record to 3-1, while Glenn Hedgpath earned his third save of the

season.

OCC improves to 20-7, 10-5 in conference, while IVC falls to 6-23,

1-15.
