Girls swimming: Eagles pick up first win

COSTA MESA - The Estancia High girls swim team pulled out an 85-82

nonleague win over visiting Saddleback Friday afternoon.

Jennifer Cassity posted wins in both the 50-yard freestyle (26.84) and

100 freestyle (1:01.4). She also swam the anchor leg of the victorious

200 medley relay (2:22.45) and 200 free relay (2:06.5) teams.

Somer Flaherty was victorious in the 200 individual medley (2:55.6)

and placed second in the 200 free (2:25.83).

Jayme Fay came through with a strong win in the 500 free (7:00.6).

The Eagles (1-6) will host Westminster at 3 p.m. in nonleague action.
