The Girl Scout Council of Orange County has elected a new board of

directors and and a new nominating committee.

Costa Mesa resident Christine Shingleton was elected as board

president, Robyn Sottile of Westminster was elected as the first vice

president, Mary Hornbuckle of Costa Mesa is the second vice president,

Pauline Wong of Huntington Beach is the secretary and Linda Goodrich was

elected as treasurer.

Senior Girl Scouts Elizabeth Hicket of Anaheim, Nichelle Lothers of

San Clemente and Jennifer Rising of Orange were also elected to the board

as advisory members.

Newport Beach residents Marian Bergeson and Marc Richards were elected

to the council nominating committee, along with Anne Crane of Irvine,

Suzanne Huffmon Esber of Santa Ana, Ginger Kleerup of Orange and W. Barry

Nixon of Lake Forest.
