The Daily Pilot asked first-graders at Newport Elementary School in

Newport Beach: What are your favorite kinds of Easter candy?

“I like chocolate eggs, the big ones. I am hoping for lots of candy

for Easter.”

“I like jelly beans. The orange ones. I hope I will get some in my

basket. Last year I got a stuffed bunny.”

good. They are made out of sugar and they taste yummy to me.”
