College softball: Biola sweeps Vanguard

COSTA MESA - Visiting Biola swept Vanguard in a Golden State

Athletic Conference softball doubleheader Monday.

After scoring two in the ninth to break a 1-1 tie for a 3-1 first-game

win, Biola scored eight in the second, en route to a 10-3 triumph to cap

the sweep.

Celina Camarillo went 4 for 7 with two RBIs to lead the Lions, who

fell to 26-16, 7-7 in conference.

Biola improved to 37-10, 10-4.
