The Braves had their offense in high gear and their pitching and

defense on target during recent Robinwood Little League Majors Division

play.

The Braves beat the Yankees, 8-2, in their first game. Pitchers’

Keegan Greebe and Kevin Powers combined to no-hit the Yanks, and Todd

Locken, who scored twice, provided the Braves with a two-run double.

The Braves used their bats at full throttle to punish the Mets, 20-1.

Every player in the lineup contributed at least one hit.

Andrew Compton went 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles, Kevin Radle and

Ryan Olson each also had three hits, and Olson knocked in five runs in

his four at-bats.

Additionally, Mark Potter had two hits and a pair of RBIs, and Tyson

McInnes had a hit and scored two runs.

Greebe collected the pitching win by only giving up two hits and a run

in three innings of work, while Locken, in relief, faced the minimum

number of hitters, striking out over the final three innings.
