The Newport Harbor Nautical Museum is hosting the 21st annual Clean

Harbor Day on April 28.

Hundreds of volunteers, including youth groups and adults from all

over Orange County, are expected to pick up trash and debris from the

beaches along Newport Harbor. Others board boats, heading out into the

harbor to gather trash bags left by homeowners on the end of docks as

well as trash floating in the water.

A complimentary hot dog barbecue and entertainment, including

environmental games and a children’s arts center, will take place at the

museum.

The event starts at 8 a.m. and lasts until 5 p.m. The museum is
