B.W. COOK -- The Look

Nordstrom South Coast Plaza, in partnership with the Sophisticates of

ATSC, staged one of the social season’s most elaborate couture fashion

shows last week. More than 800 guests, both male and female, filled to

capacity the Hyatt Regency ballroom in Newport Beach to witness the show,

titled “Liquid Edge.” Here is a glance at what fashionable Newport Mesa

women wore to the show.

CUTLINES

1. Newport attorney Aissa Wayne looked smashing in a hot pink two

piece silk suit by Tahari. Aissa’s black heels are by high fashion

footwear designer Manolo Blahnik.

2. Devon Kile chose to wear a very hip ensemble consisting of flared

French pants by Friponne, a white ruffled and fitted blouse by Mandalay,

white open-toed shoes by Sergio Rossi and silver jewelry by Oxygen.

3. Nancy Lynn Olson shows off her legs in a short suit by Bebe. The

two piece white suit is worn with a red floral print blouse by Dina Bar

El. The shoes are by Victoria’s Secret.

4. Nili Stevens wears Diane von Furstenberg. A celadon and creme sheer

print dress is worn with shoes from Barney’s New York.

5. A bright turquoise leather coat is worn over a two piece linen suit

by Commo Tooioors. Newport social whirlwind Darby Manclark also carries a

heart shaped bag by Buster.

6. Eve Kornyei models a smashing suit by Michael Kors. The light

grey-blue silk two piece pantsuit is worn with a matching shell and open

toed sandals.
