Peter Kuzmic, chairman of the Theological Commission of Evangelical

Fellowship and Superintendent of the Evangelical Church of Croatia, has

been named as keynote speaker for Vanguard University’s 2001 Commencement

exercises scheduled for Sat., May 5.

Kuzmic will address approximately 300 members of Vanguard’s graduating

class, including his daughter, Kristina, who will receive her diploma in

theater arts.

After growing up in Slovenia, in the former Yugoslavia, Kuzmic was

asked to become Croatia’s Ambassador to the United States.

Kuzmic earned his bachelor of arts degree in 1971 from Southern

California College -- now Vanguard University. He then went on to earn

his master’s and doctorate degrees.
