a.m. Monday.

* Joann Street: A burglary was reported in the 200 block at 11:25 a.m.

Monday.

* Miner Street: The suspected sale of narcotics was reported in the

2200 block at 9:50 p.m. Monday.

* Placentia Avenue: A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported in the

2500 block at 7:55 p.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* West Coast Highway: A vacuum cleaner and charger were reported

stolen in the 2000 block at 1:31 p.m. Saturday.

* Old Newport Boulevard: An attempted commercial burglary was reported

in the 400 block at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

* Vista Huerta: Property worth about $4,000 was reported stolen from a

residence in the 2200 block at 6:06 p.m. Sunday.
