NHBA Bronco: Mets edge Cardinals

John Razzano went 3 for 4 and drove in the winning run as the Mets

pulled out a 12-11 victory over the Cardinals in Newport Harbor Baseball

Association Bronco Division (ages 11-12) action.

Brennan Davis came through with a triple and two singles and scored

the winning run for the Mets, while Thomas Southern went 2 for 3,

including a home run and a triple.

Davis pitched three strong innings with six strikeouts.

The Cardinals were led by Matt Kretschmar pitched two solid innings

with six strikeouts and provided some offense with two hits.

In Mustang Division (ages 9-10) action:

Rockies 9, Orioles 2 - Matt Sarvak went 3 for 4 with a triple and

three RBIs to lead the Rockies over the Mets.

Mike Razzano, Jake Larkins, Levi Rowe and Cody Green each added RBIs

in the Rockies’ balanced attack.

Cam Koppel sparked the Rockies’ defense, while pitchers Green, Razzano

and Jason Harris combined to strike out 13 Orioles.
