Spring has sprung. It is time for parties and proms, graduations and

weddings. Are you ready? Here’s a look at some of the gorgeous and

affordable styles by Shelli Segal for prom 2001, courtesy of Neiman

Marcus at Fashion Island.

CUTLINES

PROM2. This dress by Shelli Segal comes from the designer’s collection

known as Laundry. The dress is a long, turquoise polyester garment with a

halter top. Clear beading is featured at the top, on the halter, and it

is priced at $280. The model is wearing shoes by Stuart Weitzman ($200).

The handbag is by Pierre Urbach ($95).

PROM 7. Shelli Segal offers this silk, one-shoulder, pink and mauve

dress, also from the Laundry collection ($270). The shoes are Ferragamo

($265), and the handbag is a solid silver purse from the Neiman’s

collection ($210).

PROM 4. This flowing yellow silk dress features flowers at the bottom

and silver stitching on the side, from Laundry by Shelli Segal ($250).

The model is wearing shoes by Manolo Blahnik with gold straps and heels

($445).

PROM 1. This long Shelli Segal dress in dark copper-brown with a

gathered side knot comes in silk ($310). The shoes are by Stuart Weitzman

($200), and the handbag is by Neiman Marcus ($210).

PROM 5. This pretty pink strapless dress, also by Shelli Segal, sells

for $270. It is worn with clear shoes by Weitzman ($200) and a Neiman’s

silver bag ($210).
