Softball: CdM falls to Northwood

IRVINE - The Corona del Mar High softball team fell behind early

and lost to host Northwood, 9-0, Tuesday in Pacific Coast League action.

The Sea Kings (12-10, 4-3 in league) gave up eight runs in the first

three innings and could not recover.

With the win, the Timberwolves, 12-9, 7-0) remain a game ahead of

Costa Mesa in the PCL standings.
