Saints survive shootout, beat Sabres, 3-2

Aaron Fulmer came up with the only goal in a shootout Tuesday night,

and it gave the Saints a 3-2 victory over the Sabres in Howe Division

action.

It was Fulmer’s lone goal of the match, joining teammates Kayla Reza

and Harrison Ono in the scoring department.

Saints’ goalie Kyle Bezayiff and Donald Kohler of the Sabres each had

21 saves.

David Loy scored and Garrett Greco assisted a Matthew Harrington goal

for the Sabres.

In other games:

Flyers 7, Thunderblades 4

David Airhart ripped the nets for five goals -- including his team’s

final four -- as the Flyers came up with a five-goal final period

outburst, to overcome a 3-2 deficit.

Jake Marsey scored twice for the Thunderblades and goalie Brent Holden

had 27 saves.

For the Thunderblades, Travis Sutton scored twice, Joshua Gane and

Luke Gane scored once, Danny Lu had two assists, Adam Lamotte had one

assist and Michael Burkhardt had 25 saves.

Kings 4, Hornets 3

Travis Benson scored a pair of goals, Matthew Chisum and Kyle Carter

each scored once, Justin Novakovich had an assist and goalie Chad Ramsey

recorded 24 saves to lead the Kings.

Bryce Keizer scored twice and Robert Sanchez scored one goal, Derick

Rosas picked up a pair of assists and Chris Nicholls assisted one goal

and goalie Jaryd Mason had 23 saves for the Hornets.

Flames 4, Dragons 2

The Flames received two goals from Spencer Layman and goals by Jake

Galaviz and Joshua Walker, assists by Alex Loeffelman and Chad Weaver and

24 saves by Tyler Post.

The Dragons got two goals from Stephanie McKnight and two assists from

Martin DeJong and Garrett Ono stopped 24 shot attempts.
