THOUGHTS FROM THE SCENE: It was the last assignment of my work week

and I had just 15 minutes to shoot. Looking around, I knew I had some

good elements to work with and would be able to get a picture quickly.

With performing arts assignments, the possibility of a great shot is

always there. With this in mind, I took advantage of the freedom of

working closely with the subject and captured this overhead perspective

shot of Angelika Nemeth performing a Middle Eastern dance at Orange Coast

College.

It goes to show that with all the right elements, a good picture is

just waiting to be taken.
