Costa Mesa’s PriVest Bank has named Becky McClellan as senior vice

president and chief financial officer. McClellan has 22 years of

experience in the field, serving most recently as the bank’s chief

administrative officer. . . . Jeremy Wilson of Newport Beach will receive

the Eagle Scout Award, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of

America, on Sunday during an Eagle Court of Honor. After graduation from

Newport Harbor High School, he will join the Coast Guard. . . . Laura

Osborne, daughter of Dennis Osborne of Newport Beach, has graduated from

UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. A graduate of Newport

Harbor High School, she is a member of the 1994 state and national

championship volleyball team. She will work as a teaching assistant at UC

Berkeley while pursuing an advanced degree. . . . Costa Mesa High

School’s design and build team, led by instructor Jeff Seiver, competed

in the 12th annual Design/Build Competition earlier this month at Tustin

Marketplace. The event is designed to raise awareness of the construction

industry among high school and community college students.
