Pierside Pavilion, at Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street Downtown,

is already adding shops and restaurants in preparation for the upcoming

busy summer season as well as for the new Street Scene.

As part of this event, several street vendors have recently joined the

center and their carts offer a variety of items such as jewelry, music,

children’s toys and candles.

On the second level of the center, near the Edwards 6 Cinema, Fred’s

Mexican Cafe and Cantina will soon be opening.

Other new businesses and restaurants yet to be announced will follow.

In connection with the grand opening of the Street Scene, Huntington

Surf and Sport is having a special promotional sale.

Spring wetsuits are being sold at cost and full wet suits are 25% off.

A men’s rack of shirts and shorts is 50% off and a similar ladies rack is

30% off.

Huntington Surf and Sport is on the ground floor of the Pierside

Pavilion center at 300 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach.

Getting away from the beach, Contour Home Furnishings, at the corner

of Goldenwest Street and Edinger Avenue, is having an emergency

liquidation sale and all furniture is 30-50% off. From now until July 4th

weekend, leather sofas, bedroom sets, dining room sets and a variety of

other contemporary furniture are at a greatly reduced price.

All Bernhardt brand furniture is at 40% off and the entire store has

financing available with a special no payments and no interest offer for

the next six months.

Contour Home Furnishings is not going out of business, but is changing

its inventory and switching to a different style of furniture.

Following the end of the sale, the store will temporarily close for a

few days to redecorate. It will then reopen with an entire new stock of a

more traditional style of furnishings.

Contour Home Furnishings is at 6902 Edinger Avenue, Huntington Beach

and it is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7

The Wireless Touch is announcing its grand opening by offering a

special free cell-phone package with the purchase of any Cingular, AT&T;,

or Verizon calling plan.

The free package includes a cell phone, leather phone case, car

adapter and an earpiece headset for hands-free calling.

There are many cell phone brands to choose from and calling plans

start as low as $19.99 per month.

Pagers are discounted as well and include free activation. All of

these offers are only available for a limited time. The Wireless Touch

A new Longs Drugs store has recently opened in the Peninsula Shopping

Center at the corner of Goldenwest Street and Garfield Avenue. This store

includes an expanded pharmacy, one-hour film processing and a large

cosmetics section.

In conjunction with the opening of the store, a variety of items have

been discounted including a four-pack of 24 exposure Kodak Gold film

available at $8.99.

This new Longs Drugs can be found at 19101 Goldenwest Street and is

open Monday through Saturday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 8

p.m.
