PHOTO OF THE WEEK

It’s not every day you get to meet celebrities. In light of the recent

confrontations between Dennis Rodman and the city of Newport Beach, the

Daily Pilot was able to get an interview with him. With all the tension

circling his 40th birthday party, I was surprised that he would agree to

meet. I really didn’t know what to expect.

At first Rodman said he thought there was going to be an interview

only, no photos. After the interview began, Rodman said it was cool to

take some pictures. Just sitting there, listening to his side of the

story, I began to realize that he is just like any other guy in this

town. He loves living at the beach and just like many of those who live

in West Newport, he loves to party.
