COSTA MESA:
Arbor Street: Police responded to a disturbance of the peace reported
in the 900 block at 3:22 p.m. Thursday.
Cleveland Avenue: Someone complained to police about receiving a
number of annoying phone calls at a residence in the 3000 block at 10:35
a.m. Thursday.
18th Street: A resident told police that a burglar had swept through
private property in the 700 block at 2:20 a.m. Thursday.
23rd Street: Vandals reportedly defaced private property in the 100
block at 7:29 p.m. Thursday.
NEWPORT BEACH:
Canyon Island Drive: Someone reportedly used a pellet gun to shoot out
two light fixtures, causing $140 in damage, at an apartment complex in
the 1600 block at 2:05 p.m. Friday.
Vista Cajon: A resident told police that someone had stolen a gold
watch, valued at $2,500 and bearing the inscription “Happy Birthday from
Mom and Dad,” from a home in the 2000 block at 2:10 p.m. Friday.
Westcliff Drive: An unattended wallet, containing about $260 in cash
and credit cards, was reported stolen from a food establishment in the
1700 block at 5:35 p.m. Friday.
