Pony baseball: CdM 13 edges Costa Mesa

CORONA DEL MAR - The Costa Mesa All-Stars put on a strong

performance, but fell to the Corona del Mar 13 All-Stars, 10-9, at the

Newport-Mesa Pony Conference Father’s Day Tournament, Sunday.

Alex Pisarski hit a three-run home run to pace Costa Mesa’s offense,

while Ryan Gleason added a solo home run.

Andrew Sanford had two key hits, while Jordan Kalke chipped in a

double an two RBIs for Costa Mesa.

Other key CM hits came from Jose Robles, Dillon Hunter and Jon Locke,

while R.J. Duernberger, Justin Weisz and Jamie Tinnion provided stingy

defense.
