Mayor’s breakfast to be held today

Mayor Pam Julian Houchen will host a mayor’s breakfast in Room B-8, on

the lower level of City Hall, with a reception starting at 7:45 a.m.

The breakfast program, which begins at 8 a.m. and runs for an hour,

will include guest speakers Robert Beardsley, city director of public

works, and Ron Hagan, director of the city’s community services

department.

Beardsley will present a brief overview of water quality initiatives

funded through state Proposition 13, while Hagan will provide an update

on the improvements being made to the South Beach area, as well as

discuss plans for the future sports complex slated for Huntington Beach

Central Park.

The mayor’s breakfast starts today at City Hall at 2000 Main St.
