* Bear Street: Possession of a dangerous weapon was reported in the

3100 block at 11:51 p.m. Thursday.

* California Street: A petty theft was reported in the 3200 block at

3:13 p.m. Thursday.

* Hamilton Street: A grand theft was reported in the 300 block at 7:25

a.m. Thursday.

* Harbor Boulevard: An auto theft was reported in the 2700 block at

4:52 p.m. Thursday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Camphor Street: Annoying phone calls were reported in the 800 block

at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

* Newport Center Drive: A cellular phone was reported stolen from an

office in the 200 block at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday.

* West Ocean Front: Vandals reportedly broke into a home and smashed a

bathroom mirror in the 6100 block at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
