Youth baseball: CdM baseball camp

CORONA DEL MAR - The Fall Baseball Academy, with an instructional

staff headed by Corona del Mar High Coach John Emme, has less than 20

spots remaining for kids ages 10-14.

Registrants who pay a $450 fee (except those currently in the ninth

grade who are not eligible due to CIF Southern Section regulations) will

receive instruction on offensive and defensive aspects of the game,

beginning Sept. 10.

The academy will convene Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

through Nov. 19 at the CdM varsity field.

The fee includes Sea King hats, T-shirts and personal videotaping.

Intrasquad games and a weekly parent/player clinic will also be included.
