Volleyball: Volleyball camps offered

NEWPORT BEACH - Newport Harbor High boys and girls volleyball coach

Dan Glenn will host three volleyball camps in July for those looking to

better his or her game.

The first camp is a Junior Sailor Camp, set for Monday through

Thursday from 1-3 p.m. at the Sailors’ gym.

The cost of the camp is $80 and the camp is for youngsters ages 8-13.

A two-day, coed, four-person beach volleyball tournament will take

place Saturday and July 22, beginning at 8 a.m. at the beach located on

Grant Street. Cost is $25 per person and there will be an open division

for varsity and alumni, as well as a junior division for all non-varsity

players.

All four team members must have graduated from or are currently

attending the same high school.

Finally, Glenn will be hosting a Surf and Sand Beach Camp, set for

July 30 through Aug. 2 on the beach at Grant Street from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Cost is $125 per person and youngsters ages 8-13 are invited to

attend.
