Readers Respond -- What should be done with Marinapark?

When are our city leaders going to wake up? No one wants the luxury

hotel except the developer, mayor and council members. Who will, of

course, be down there at the grand opening of the hotel, drinking

expensive champagne and congratulating each other on how they improved

the peninsula.

All at the expense of the American Legion and local residents who have

to deal with the traffic, pollution and inconvenience.

I’m against building a hotel at the American Legion site and the

trailer park and the removal of public tennis courts and the removal of

the tot lot.
