COSTA MESA
* Hamilton Street: A home burglary was reported in the 400 block at
12:04 a.m. Sunday.
* Peterson Place: Vandalism was reported in the 2700 block at 7:55
a.m. Sunday.
* Fair Drive: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 400 block at
10:06 a.m. Sunday.
* Fair Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 100 block at 7:57 p.m.
Sunday.
* Peterson Place: Lewd conduct was reported in the 2700 block at 8:25
p.m. Sunday.
* Fairview Road: An auto theft was reported in the 3300 block at 11:19
p.m. Sunday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Tustin Avenue: A jewelry theft was reported in the 2200 block at
11:12 a.m. Friday. More than $3,000 in rings and necklaces, including two
strings of pearls, were stolen from a master bedroom cabinet.
* Newport Pier: A roll of counterfeit money was found in the sand at
2:06 p.m. Friday.
* MacArthur Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 4500 block at
5:30 p.m. Friday. The front license plate was stolen from a rental car.
* Via Lido: A grand theft was reported in the 3400 block at 10 a.m.
Saturday. About $10,000 was stolen from a table at the location.
* Fernando Street: A grand theft was reported in the 300 block at
12:20 p.m. Saturday. About $500 was stolen from a home.
* Newport Boulevard: A lost money clip was reported in the 2300 block
at 2 p.m. Saturday. A 23-year-old man reported losing $15 and a driver’s
license at Woody’s Wharf.
