hosts an outdoor barbecue today that will feature fish grilling

demonstrations, tips on properly grilling seafood and chefs preparing

2. DOGS WILL GET DOWN and party at the third annual Barkday Pool Party

for dogs of all breeds and ages. The event will be held in the parking

lot of Corona del Mar Plaza from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. Dogs can play

games, swim and get their pictures taken. The event will take place at

the corner of MacArthur Boulevard and Coast Highway in Newport Beach.

3. WARNING: LASERS WILL INVADE Newport Harbor at 1 p.m. Sunday. But

it’s all in good fun as the 66th edition of the Flight of the Lasers

takes place. Every year, the Newport Harbor Chamber of Commerce hosts the

event that features small, single-sailed boats racing around Newport
