WEATHER FORECAST
Much like Monday, the morning’s partly cloudy skies will make way for
mostly sunny conditions sometime after noon. The thermometer will strike
75 degrees, though it may feel a bit warmer. The UV index will read 9 in
the early afternoon hours.
Overnight, it should stay on the warm side at 64 degrees. Wednesday
should bring about similar temperatures, though it’ll feel warmer and see
less clouds.
BOATING FORECAST
Patchy fog will kick off the morning in the harbor. The western winds
will come in at a typical 10 to 15 knots, which will result in 2-foot
waves. Similar conditions will occur by nightfall, with fog rolling right
back in.
In the outer waters, strong gusts of wind will occur occasionally,
though steady northwest winds of 10 to 20 knots and 2- to 3-foot waves
should be the norm. By evening, the winds will continue, though they’ll
lighten up later into the night.
SURF
Another southwest swell is moving in and bringing with it some waves
larger than knee-high. Expect some waist-high and occasional chest-high
sets today and Wednesday. Similar conditions should result the remaining
of the week.
