John Laing Homes has given hundreds of prospective home buyers walking

tours of model homes in Corona del Mar’s Sailhouse, one of the first West

Coast neighborhoods to offer the St. Augustine style of homes made famous

in Florida’s Seaside and Rosemary Beach resorts.

Officials were amazed by the number of visitors who showed up. Each

received preliminary floor plans and pricing information.

“We know that the design of the homes and the Corona del Mar location

will be a big draw for Sailhouse,” said Marianne Browne, vice president

of sales and marketing for John Laing. “But we were still surprised by

the overwhelming turnout for the preview.”

Homes will go on sale in September.
