CHILD CARE: Children’s ministry is provided for each worship service

and for the Thursday morning women’s Bible study and Thursday evening

marriage principles.

TYPE OF WORSHIP: Contemporary

TYPE OF SERMON: Harris teaches book-by-book, chapter-by-chapter,

verse-by-verse, systematically through the whole Bible. Tapes are

available after each service.

CURRENT SERMON: On Sunday morning Harris is presenting a series on

worship; he is currently teaching through the Gospel of Matthew on

Wednesday night.

VISITOR INFORMATION: Visitors are welcome and information about church

programs and activities are available at the church and on the church’s

CHURCH PROGRAMS: Women’s Bible study at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday;

marriage principles at 7 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of each month; men’s

breakfast in the cafe at 7 a.m. on the 4th Saturday of each month. The

women’s ministry recently completed a 6-week Bible study on “Knowing

God.” It met on Tuesday evenings.

OUTREACH PROGRAMS: Members of the congregation participate in mission

trips overseas and “mission trips in their backyard, Downtown Huntington

Beach” including street witnessing on the 1st Friday of each month at 6

p.m. A team of members recently returned from a mission trip to Ireland

from July 29 through Aug. 9.

DESIGN: The church offices, fellowship halls and sanctuary are in a

retail storefront location on the east side of Beach Blvd. between

Yorktown Avenue to the south and Garfield Avenue to the north.

MISSION STATEMENT: Go into all the world to preach the gospel.

INTERESTING NOTE: A women’s retreat at Tahquitz Pines will be held

from Sept. 28-30. A men’s retreat is planned for the fall, from Oct. 5-7.

is planning a tour to Israel from April 21 to May 2, 2002. Anyone
