The Huntington Beach Playhouse is presenting, “Joseph and the Amazing

Technicolor Dreamcoat” Friday through August 26. The production is a hip

biblical tale of the prophetic son Joseph who was sold into slavery by

The Bolsa Chica Wetlands needs volunteers to pick up litter and

rubbish. The Conservancy conducts a Service Day from 9 a.m. to noon on

Murdy Community Center is offering a Summer Arts and Crafts Camp, a

include how to read charts, latitude and longitude, direction, time,

The Sunset in the Park 2.8- and 4.8-mile cross country run and walk

will take place Thursday, Aug. 30 at Huntington Beach Central Park,

between Goldenwest and Edward streets and Ellis and Slater avenues.

Girls’ high school age race starts at 4:30 p.m., boys’ starts at 5 p.m.

The 2.8-mile run/walk starts at 6 p.m., the 4.8-mile run starts at 6:30

p.m. Race fee is $17 with T-shirt or $14 for the race only. Additional

The Moms Offering Moms Support Club, a nonprofit support group for

stay-at-home mothers, organizes daily activities for mothers and their

children including park play days, fun field trips and age appropriate
