Stunners rock Raiders, 8-2

The Stunners scored seven goals over the final two periods Monday and

went on to down the Raiders, 8-2, in Lemieux Division action.

Devon Thormodsgaard burned the net for four goals and also assisted

two other scores to lead the Stunners. John Barrows scored three goals,

Mark Miller scored once, Nick LeMonnier and Adam Stanford each had two

assists and Cody James had one.

Matt Thomas stopped 15 shot attempts for the winners.

Chad Pelliccioni scored once with an assist, Ryan Pelliccioni scored

once and Tim Kraus had 29 saves for the Raiders.

In other games:

Flash 7, Extreme 3

A four goal first period carried the Flash to victory.

Taylor Apostol scored two goals, Andy McCarty scored once and had two

assists, Gerardo Gomez scored once and had an assist, Jessen Zimmerman

scored once and had an assist, Derek Belisle scored once, Marissa Castle

had two assists and Chaz Grant had nine saves for the Flash.

Colby Kasubuchi and Kevin Tanaka each had a goal and assist, Greg Earl

scored once, Chad Romers was in on two assists and Rex Dunn had 12 saves.

Blades 4, Devils 2

Goals went to Scott Taucher, Kenneth Sabraw, Joshua Hackworth and

Matthew Chan, David Lachman had two assists and Hackworth finished with

one and Casey Becking had 23 saves.

Adam Frey and Andy Shiraki scored one goal apiece, Ricky Olson had an

assist and Jeremy Nelson recorded 18 saves.

Rockers 7, Hawks 7

Adam Daley scored in the final period and the Rockers defense, led by

Alex Vongkoth, held the Hawks scoreless down the stretch to earn the tie.

Daley also finished with three assists, Andrew Whiting scored twice,

Andy Holmes scored once with an assist, Traves Smith and Vartan

Tchekmedyian each scored once and Vongkoth survived with 38 saves.

Chris Bathurst scored twice and had an assist, JM McNulty and Michael

Kirchner each scored once with an assist, Brad Bruce and Corey Ochoa each

scored once, Kyle Brown had an assist and Kyle Concannon had 30 saves to

lead the Hawks.

In Campbell Division play:

Blackhawks 5, Red Lazers 0

Darrell McDonald recorded the shutout with 13 saves, Zachery Jones

scored three goals and had an assist, Connor Culhane and Kelly Culhane

each scored once, Warren Brown, Marcus Velasco and Kyle Day each had

assists in the win.

Kyle Impelman had 14 saves for the Red Lazers.

The Squids 8, Intimidators 2

Garrett Blackwell scored three goals and had one assist, Timothy

Francis scored twice and assisted three goals, Nathan Wing scored twice

and had a pair of assists, Joel Gilbert scored once, Alex Zinger had an

assist and Connor Cal Lathrope had 19 saves to lead The Squids.

Erik Jervik scored both goals and Travis Beckman had eight saves for

the Intimidators.

Badgers 6, Hurricanes 2

Sean Froelich scored three goals and added two assists, David Abady

scored twice with an assist, Austin Heinz and scored once with two

assists and Matt Bodziak had 18 saves for the Badgers.

Blades 5, Ice Pups 3

Ashley Earl scored twice and also had two assists, Jason Smith, Blake

Vanderham and Natalie Bergeron all scored once and Garrick Langer had two

assists to lead the Blades.

Kirsten Marony scored two goals to lead the Ice Pups.
