Huntington Beach Police are still searching for a man suspected of an

armed robbery that took place last week as a woman walked to her car in a

Coco’s Restaurant parking lot.

Veera Sidhwa, 45, of Huntington Beach was getting into her car after

leaving the restaurant in the 15000 block of Goldenwest Street at about 9

p.m., when a man with a handgun approached and demanded money.

The suspect took the victim’s purse and fled eastbound on foot. Sidhwa

was not injured.

Lt. Bill Peterson, of the Huntington Beach Police Department said no

vehicle was seen and total losses are unknown.
