Surf and Sun
WEATHER FORECAST
Nothing seems to work out perfect as today’s great surf will be met
with some clouds. But don’t count the sun out. It will poke through those
darn floating bodies of moisture throughout the day to create a high in
the mid-70s.
Overnight, the low will only dip down to a cool 62 degrees. Expect
warmer temperatures to pop up over the weekend.

BOATING FORECAST
Patchy morning fog in the harbor will clear out with southwest winds
of 10 knots, which will generate 1-foot waves and a south swell of 6
feet. Winds will stay light throughout the day and will become much more
of a breeze into the night.
Out farther, the northwest winds of 10 to 15 knots will create 2-foot
waves and mixed south and northwest swell of 6 feet. The same will occur
into the evening and night, when the fog returns.
SURF
Thank goodness for hurricanes. Yep, Hurricane Flossie -- now there’s
an original name -- will bring in some nicer waves than previously
expected. So, look for some waist- to shoulder-high surf with the
occasional 6-footers. The same should be encountered on Saturday, though
it’ll die out later into the day while those occasional 6-footers will
become scarce. Some 5-footers might roll in here and there,
though.Information: o7 https://www.surfrider.orgf7 .
