* South Coast Drive: A prowler was reported in the 1000 block at 12:17

* East 17th Street: Annoying phone calls were reported in the 280

* East 19th Street and Irvine Avenue: An accident involving an injury

chemical on a store’s display window, causing permanent damage, in the

5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

* East Coast Highway: Petty theft was reported in the 2000 block at

2:20 p.m. Thursday.

* West Coast Highway: Boat parts worth $40,000 were reported stolen in

the 600 block at 10 a.m. Thursday.

* Newport Center Drive: A cellular phone was reported stolen from a

car in the 100 block at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday.
