The Daily Pilot visited Mrs. Ever road’s fifth-grader class at Newport

Elementary School and asked children whether they preferred buying their

lunch at school or bringing it from home.

“I bring, unless it’s pizza day. I like planning for the day.

Sometimes they’ll have chicken strips like the kind you get at Burger

King and those are good.”
