Girls golf: CdM trails Woodbridge at halfway point

The Corona del Mar High girls golf team will try to make up a

13-shot deficit on Thursday, following Tuesday’s 226-239 nine-hole

performance against Woodbridge at the Newport Beach Country Club, par 35.

Jackie McCoy and Katie Albright each shot a 45 to lead the Sea Kings.

Gloria Hanson (47), Stephanie Kendrick (51) and Jennifer Woo (51) rounded

out CdM’s top five.

The Sea Kings will be back at NBCC today when they play the first half

of their match against Dana Hills, beginning at 2:30 p.m.

CdM will complete its match with Woodbridge Thursday at 2:45 at Rancho

San Joaquin Golf Course.
