* Samar Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 1700 block at 2:39 p.m.

Sunday.

* Santo Tomas Avenue: Possession of narcotics was reported in the 200

block at 10:17 a.m. Sunday.

* East Wilson Street: A grand theft was reported in the 100 block at

8:03 p.m. Sunday.

* East 17th Street: Vandalism was reported in the 400 block at 2:49

a.m. Sunday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Pearl Avenue: A home burglary was reported in the 200 block at 9:50

a.m. Wednesday.

* Jade Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 100 block at 9:43

p.m. Tuesday.

* Balboa Boulevard: A prowler was reportedly seen in the 1600 block at

9:24 p.m. Tuesday.

* San Joaquin Hills and Jamboree roads: A car fire was reported in the

intersection at 7:03 p.m.

* West Coast Highway and Superior Avenue: Police were unable to locate

a drunk driver who was reportedly seen driving near the intersection at

6:55 p.m. Tuesday.
