The Huntington Beach Playhouse is presenting “Bus Stop” directed by

Terri Miller-Schmidt 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m.

Sundays, today through Oct. 7. Tickets are $15; $7 on Student Thursdays

and for seniors on Thursdays and Sundays. The playhouse is at 7111

SATURDAY

Old World Village is celebrating Oktoberfest with food, games and

music. The festivities will take place Wednesday through Sunday and run

through Oct. 28 at the village, 7561 Center Ave. Wednesdays and Thursdays

are family nights with free admission, 6:30 to 11 p.m. Fridays and

Saturdays are 21 and over, $10 admission (6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.) On Sundays

admission is $3.50 and children 12 and under are free. (2 to 7:30 p.m.)

There will be an Oktoberfest Parade at 2 p.m. on Sept. 30.

SUNDAYThe Huntington Beach Public Library is presenting Mari Haig

on violin, Karen Linkletter on cello and Frederick Staff on the flute

playing Schubert, Mozart, Bach, Handel and more. The music will begin at

3 p.m. in the library, 7111 Talbert Ave. General admission, $10; seniors
