READERS RESPOND

I think all of us in the United States have a right to pose one

question to a country we have nurtured for more than 40 years with not

only financial aid and loans, but top of the line military equipment.

Israel, are you going to lead the way, especially because of your

strategic geographical location and be one of the first to step up to the

line and support your benefactor and protector to find the terrorist

group that planned and executed a sneak attack that cost us more than

5,000 lives and collateral destruction?

Patriotism is not dead. On my daily morning walk to the beach it’s

been so touching and thrilling to see the flags being displayed on cars,

houses and our Huntington Beach Pier, the flags all flying so proudly.

The terrible events have everyone shocked and are the main topic of our

conversations. We are proud to be Americans. God bless America.
